Estrella Galicia is a beer benchmark in Spain.
It was established in A Coruña in 1906 by José María Rivera and continues to be run by the Rivera family at present.
In 1910, the brewing activity at the Cuatro Caminos Brewery and Ice Factory in A Coruña.
In 1969, the construction of a new brewery began in order to improve production and technology. This factory was built in A Grela.
Estrella Galicia is currently a benchmark in the Spanish beer industry, whereas in the last 10-15 years it has gained renown, hence being present in all parts of Spain.
Estrella Galicia also offers its famous range of 0.0 and 1906 beers with more character and strength.

The 1906 is a beer with roasted malts, aromatic hops with a long-lasting flavour and a special and unique character. This beer is brewed using water from A Coruña, a selection of Pilsen and roasted malts and Hallertau Perle hops. Bright amber colour. Roasted coffee and caramel aromas, light floral and herbal nuances in the nose. This premium lager has a unique touch with toasty notes.
